They’ve played 1000+ shows across 40 countries, performed in Hollywood movie ‘RocknRolla’, hit US drama ‘The OC’ & soundtracked a Kate Moss campaign for Rimmel – but there’s plenty more to come in the story of The Subways. The iconic UK trio celebrate everything they have achieved so far, and look ahead to what comes next with the release the new best of compilation ‘When I’m With You’ and the announcement of a Germany tour for October 2026, building on the roaring success for last year’s pan-European tour (of which many dates sold out).

Billy Lunn says, “We feel very lucky to be heading back to Germany (which has been so good to us all these years) to continue celebrating the release of our best of compilation “When I’m With You’. The party for our 20th anniversary surges on, and we are so excited for you to join us! Let’s go wild!”

Charlotte Cooper adds about “When I’m With You’: "We wanted to celebrate the milestone of 20 years of the band for ourselves, but also our very loyal fan base. We have had some incredible times and adventures on the road, playing shows all over the world, which is why we used the inspiration of a set list to choose the track listing. Structured like a setlist, ‘When I’m With You’ hits with maximum ferocity from the outset, as the call-and-response garage-rock thrills of early favourite ‘Oh Yeah’ bound into the bouncy big riffs of 2023’s ‘Black Wax’. What follows is a breathless adventure from the band’s biggest crowd pleasing moments, from the pop-punk blasts of ‘Taking All The Blame’, ‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’ & ‘We Don’t Need Money To Have A Good Time’ into the sun-kissed melodic grunge of ‘Kalifornia’ through to ‘I Want To Hear What You’ve Got To Say’ from their debut album, and the darker-hued alt-rock fire of ‘You Kill My Cool’. It ends - where else? - with the full-throttle loud/quiet/loud dynamics of their worldwide rock playlist mainstay single ‘Rock & Roll Queen’.
