Enchanting evening in Hannover with Steinway Artist, multi-awarded pianist Joanna Sochacka in a special duo performance with pianist Anna Miernik for a Christmas concert featuring the most beloved Christmas classics and iconic melodies from Schumann, Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, Rachmaninoff, Paderewski, Piazolla and Leontovych. Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker, the enchanting ballet music captures the magic of Christmas with the famous Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy and Waltz of the Flowers. The second section concludes Mykola Leontovych’s Carol of the Bells, one of the most renowned Christmas music worldwide, based on a Ukrainian folk chant. The encounter of two artists on one piano will amplify the sound and the melodies, a pure bliss for the audience.
